1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using MyBestLife (the "Service"), operated by Praethos LLC ("we," "our," or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, whether you use the free tier or Premium subscription.
2. Description of Service
MyBestLife is a gamified life-optimization application that helps users track progress across seven life pillars (Faith, Family, Friends, Fitness, Finances, Focus, and Fun). The Service includes but is not limited to: personalized quest generation, XP and leveling systems, streak tracking, budget and financial tracking, workout logging, social features, and optional AI coaching.
3. User Accounts
You must be at least 14 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you must have parental consent. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
4. Free and Premium Tiers
The core Service is available free of charge with no time limit. Premium features are available through:
- •Monthly subscription ($9.99/month)
- •Annual subscription ($79.99/year)
- •Life Coin redemption (500 Life Coins per month)
We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days' advance notice. Existing subscribers will be honored at their current rate until the end of their billing cycle.
5. Life Coins
Life Coins are a virtual currency earned through using the Service. Life Coins have no real-world monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash. We reserve the right to modify the Life Coin earning rates, redemption rates, and available redemption options. Life Coins expire 12 months after they are earned if not redeemed.
6. User Content
You retain ownership of all content you create within the Service, including journal entries, goals, and social posts. By using social features, you grant us a limited license to display your shared content to other users you have chosen to share with. You are responsible for the content you post and agree not to share content that is harmful, illegal, or violates the rights of others.
7. Financial Data
MyBestLife integrates with financial institutions through Plaid. We do not store your banking credentials. Financial data is used solely for the purpose of providing budget tracking and net worth features. The Service does not constitute financial advice. Always consult a qualified financial advisor for financial decisions.
8. Health Data
MyBestLife may track fitness activities, sleep, and other health-related data. This data is for informational and motivational purposes only. The Service does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a healthcare professional before starting any exercise program or making health decisions.
9. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- •Use the Service for any illegal purpose
- •Attempt to exploit, manipulate, or cheat the gamification system
- •Harass, abuse, or harm other users
- •Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
- •Create multiple accounts to circumvent limitations
10. Termination
You may terminate your account at any time through the app settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. You may request a data export before termination. After account deletion, all personal data is permanently removed within 30 days.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Praethos LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Colorado, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
13. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide at least 30 days' notice of any material changes via in-app notification and email. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
